Landing Page Design and CRO
A landing page is the page someone reaches after clicking an ad, an email or a search result, built around one offer and one next step. Conversion rate optimization, or CRO, is the ongoing work of finding out why visitors do not take that step and testing changes that help more of them do it. At OnlyaClick it is part of our website development services.
You get pages designed for the visitors you are already paying to reach, and a measured record of what changed and why.

What Landing Page Design and CRO Is
Many businesses send paid traffic to their homepage, a page written to introduce the whole company to everyone. A visitor who clicked an ad for one service then has to hunt for it. A landing page answers the question behind that click: it repeats the promise the visitor saw, explains the offer plainly, answers the usual objections, and puts one clear action in reach, such as a call, a form or a booking.
CRO is what happens after launch. Instead of redesigning on opinion, we watch how visitors use the page, form a specific idea about what is getting in their way, change one thing, and compare the result against the original.
Who It Is For
Businesses that pay for traffic and want more of it to turn into calls, form fills or bookings: law firms, medical and wellness practices, home service companies, and local and online retailers running Google, Meta or email campaigns. It also suits a business launching a new service or promotion that needs its own page quickly, without rebuilding the main website.
Testing needs visitors. If a page gets very little traffic, we focus on clear design and fixing obvious problems first, and we tell you when a formal test would take too long to give a reliable answer.
What the Engagement Includes
A conversion review
A written look at the pages your ads and emails send people to today: whether the message matches the ad, how the page reads on a phone, how long it takes to load, and how much effort the form or call button asks of a visitor.
Tracking checks
Confirmation that every form submission, call click and booking is recorded before any test begins, so results are counted correctly.
Page design and copy
New landing pages written and designed for a specific campaign or audience, built mobile first on your existing site where possible so they share your branding, hosting and analytics.
Forms and calls to action
Shorter forms that ask only what your team needs for a first contact, tap-to-call buttons for phone visitors, and a clear confirmation of what happens after someone submits.
A testing plan
A ranked list of changes to try, each with the reason behind it and the result that would count as a win, so tests answer real questions rather than chase color swaps.
Monthly reporting
What was changed, what was tested, what the numbers showed, and what we plan to try next.
How It Works, Step by Step
1. Consultation. We learn what a good lead looks like for your business, which campaigns send traffic where, and what happens when a lead comes in.
2. Measure. We check your tracking, then record a baseline: visits, conversions and conversion rate for each page and traffic source.
3. Build. We write and design the page, share a draft for your approval, and launch it once you sign off.
4. Test. We run one change at a time against the current version and let it collect enough visits to give a fair answer before we call it.
5. Keep or roll back. Changes that help become the new version; changes that do not are removed, and what we learned shapes the next test.
How to Measure the Results
Conversion rate by page and source: the share of visitors who call, submit a form or book, compared with your baseline and split by where they came from, since ad, email and search visitors behave differently.
Cost per lead: for paid campaigns, what each conversion costs before and after the page changes.
Lead quality: how many of those leads your team marks as real opportunities. A page that doubles form fills with poor fits is not an improvement.
Landing page experience in Google Ads: one of the three parts of Quality Score, which Google describes as how relevant and useful your landing page is to people who click your ad.
We do not promise a set conversion rate. Results depend on your offer, your prices and your traffic, and some tests will show no difference. Those still tell you something.
How It Connects to Our Other Services
Landing page design and CRO is part of our website development services. It works closely with Google Ads search management: the ads bring the visitor, and the page decides whether that click becomes a lead. Tests only mean something when conversions are counted correctly, so the work rests on GA4 and conversion tracking setup. For online stores, the same approach applies to product and checkout pages built through our ecommerce web design service.
Landing Page and CRO Questions
Do we need a new website to get landing pages?
Usually not. In most cases we build landing pages on your existing site, so they use your domain, branding and tracking. If your current platform makes that hard, we explain the options and their trade-offs before recommending any rebuild.
How long does a test take?
It depends on how many visitors and conversions the page gets. A busy page can give a clear answer in a few weeks; a quiet page may never reach a reliable result. We estimate the time before starting and stop tests that cannot finish in a reasonable period.
Does a better landing page help our Google Ads?
It can. Google Ads rates landing page experience as one of the three parts of Quality Score, alongside expected clickthrough rate and ad relevance. A page that matches the ad and is useful to the visitor also gives more of the clicks you already pay for a reason to become a lead.
